Spring Equinox Evening - Friday 20th March at 7pm, Resonate Yoga

Step into the energy of the Spring Equinox with a nourishing two-hour yoga workshop designed to honour the turning of the seasons.

Together we’ll explore the beginning of spring through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), understanding the Wood element and its connection to the Liver and Gallbladder meridians — organs associated with growth, vision, renewal, and forward movement.

Expect a thoughtfully sequenced seasonal yoga practice to gently awaken the body after winter, incorporating flowing movement, meridian stretches, breathwork, and grounding pauses for reflection. We’ll balance effort with ease, creating space to clear stagnation, set intentions, and align with spring’s rising, expansive energy.

This workshop is suitable for all levels and offers a beautiful opportunity to reset, refresh, and plant positive seeds of intention for the months ahead.

Dumfries House Spring Retreat Day, Saturday 28th March

Join Varrie and Vhairi, with special guest Sophie on the harp, for a nourishing day designed to welcome the shift of seasons as we move gently into Spring. We’ll begin the morning with a slow flow vinyasa practice, accompanied by the calming sounds of live harp music, offering a grounding and uplifting start to the day.

A wholesome, healthy lunch is included, with all food preferences fully catered for.

Awaken into Summer in idyllic surroundings with a carefully curated blend of meditation, yoga, nature immersion, and deep rest.Expect to leave feeling nourished, uplifted, and deeply inspired.

Our day begins gently in the beautiful bell tent, where you’ll be lead through a grounding meditation to set the tone. This will be followed by pranayama to elevate your energy and an invigorating yoga practice designed to help you feel empowered, energised, and aligned with the vibrant essence of the Summer Solstice. We’ll also be joined by Fiona Smith, who will share a deeply soothing sound healing session.

You’ll then have time to truly soak it all in, take a refreshing dip in the natural swimming pool, warm yourself in the sauna, wander through the walled garden, and explore the estate at your own pace. This is a day to immerse yourself in nature’s abundance and reconnect deeply with yourself and the world around you.

You’ll be lovingly nourished throughout the day, beginning with a welcome juice and healthy snack on arrival, followed by a nutritious lunch and afternoon treats to keep you feeling supported and cared for.

We’ll close the day with yin practice and guided Yoga Nidra, offering space to set intentions for the season ahead and leave you feeling awakened, alive, and deeply relaxed.
